Your wedding shoes (this is THE most important item—hem length is entirely determined by shoe height, so wrong shoes equal wrong hem) Your wedding undergarments (shapewear, bra, anything you'll wear under the dress) Your veil and accessories (especially by fitting 2 or 3, when you want to see the whole picture) Your bustling MOH or whoever's helping you on the day (for the bustle lesson at fitting 3) Hair styled close to the wedding-day look (for fitting 3, ideally—it affects neckline visuals) Photos, screenshots, or Vision Board screenshots of the customizations you're imagining (pictures are worth a thousand words—especially during the customization conversation) David's Bridal handles alterations in-store through the David's Alterations Artisans—the in-house team behind the David's Fit Guarantee™

Check for rough shoe interiors that could catch delicate legwear. Consider whether the skirt opening reveals details while you walk.
A side view helps explain volume and the way panels sit around the body. An image of the inside can clarify lining and seam construction.
Notice whether rotation happens during walking or after sitting so you can identify a repeatable pattern. Consider the interaction with tights or other layers if the skirt catches more on one side.
