I wanted to keep the travel theme in this post so I’m skipping out on my Instagrammable little black dress, my I-can-only-wear-this-once dress, my there-is-so-much-fabric-how-do-i-walk dress, and of course, my all of the above dress (side note: I have never worn that one but it looks like a museum piece so I’m keeping it)

Pleated, and with an 11″ inseam, I went with my standard XS

Check for rough shoe interiors that could catch delicate legwear. Consider whether the skirt opening reveals details while you walk.
A side view helps explain volume and the way panels sit around the body. An image of the inside can clarify lining and seam construction.
Notice whether rotation happens during walking or after sitting so you can identify a repeatable pattern. Consider the interaction with tights or other layers if the skirt catches more on one side.
